Terms of Use

1. Introduction

Broqo is a nutrition and calorie tracking service available as a website, mobile application, and related services that allows users to log meals, receive AI-generated nutrition analysis, and access related features. These Terms of Use form a legal agreement between you and Broqo regarding your use of Broqo's services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Broqo. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the service if required by applicable law.

3. User Accounts

You may create and access an account using supported sign-in methods such as Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. You agree to provide accurate information and to maintain control over the account you use to access Broqo. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.

If you believe your account has been compromised or used without authorization, contact us at support@broqo.online.

4. User Content

You may log food entries, upload photos of meals, and provide other content to Broqo for nutrition analysis.

You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading content, you grant Broqo a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to host, process, transmit, and use that content solely to operate, provide, maintain, and improve the service features you request.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have all rights and permissions necessary to upload and process your content.

Broqo may generate nutrition estimates and analysis based on your food logs and inputs. Broqo claims no ownership in the data and outputs generated for you through the service.

5. Subscription and Billing

Certain features of Broqo require a paid subscription. Broqo currently offers auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple's App Store.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at the time of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled by you through your Apple account settings before renewal.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple account settings on your device.
• We do not control Apple's billing processes and do not receive your full payment card information. Refunds, billing issues, and purchase management are generally handled by Apple under Apple's policies and terms.

6. AI Features Disclaimer

Broqo provides AI-generated nutrition analysis, calorie estimates, and food recognition based on your inputs.

These results are provided for informational purposes only. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inconsistent. Calorie and nutrient values are estimates and should not be solely relied upon for medical or dietary decisions.

Broqo does not provide medical, dietary, or other professional advice, and we do not guarantee any particular health outcome from using the service. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical or dietary guidance.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• upload content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, obscene, hateful, abusive, or otherwise violates the rights of others;
• use the service to create deceptive, harmful, or harassing content;
• attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, copy, disrupt, or misuse the service;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts;
• use the service for commercial exploitation without our prior written permission.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Broqo service — including its design, code, branding, and Broqo's own content — belong exclusively to Broqo. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to use our trademarks, logos, or proprietary materials without express written permission. Your content remains subject to the ownership terms described in Section 4.

9. Limitation of Liability

Broqo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Broqo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data or reliance on AI-generated nutrition analysis or calorie estimates.

10. Suspension, Termination, and Account Deletion

We may suspend or terminate access to Broqo if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users or third parties, or misuse the service.

You may delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting support@broqo.online.

After account deletion, we will delete or de-identify your personal data and uploaded content within 30 days, unless retention is required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or backup restoration.

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Apple subscription. Subscriptions must be managed separately through your Apple account settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or service features. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Broqo after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at support@broqo.online and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

13. Apple App Store Notice

If you access Broqo through the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that Apple is not a party to these Terms of Use and that the license for the iOS app is provided under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
